Spring is in the air and our welcomed sunshine, fair weather and longer days are just around the corner. Unfortunately, our seasons do not help curtail our continued rising crime rates. The best prevention is deterrence, and the fact you are reading this means that you have likely already taken appropriate steps to reduce your exposure to loss due to burglary and fire. The carriers are currently making changes to their cellular infrastructure that will ultimately render most systems 5 years and older incapable of sending emergency signals. If we have not already scheduled this upgrade for you, or if you are unsure if your system falls into this category, please contact and us and we will be happy to discuss how to make the necessary arrangements.
While this could be considered an inconvenience, it provides our technician the opportunity to check your entire system and provide you the peace of mind in knowing that all is well. Another great advantage that arises from upgrading your communicator is the technology that is already built within. Prior to performing the communicator upgrade, our technician will show you several new features that will likely now be available without having to upgrade your existing security panel. Just to name of few from a long list of these automation options: Remote Arming and Disarming, locking/unlocking doors, opening/closing garage doors, turning lights on and off, adjusting temperature and viewing video from your doorbell or multiple cameras, from one app and from anywhere on your mobile device. I promise that once you try it... you will love it!
