October 2022 Newsletter
Early last month, I had the pleasure of attending an event held by Mississippi's Gulf Coast Chamber of Commerce to learn some updates from Commissioner Sean Tindell of the Mississippi Department of Public Safety (DPS). DPS is comprised of various agencies ranging from Highway Patrol (MHP) to the Office of Homeland Security. All Safe Technologies shares a common bond with Law Enforcement and Fire Departments throughout our communities, as our services would be greatly diminished without their dedication and response when needed most. DPS's mission is to make Mississippi a safer place for its three million residents and we intend to continue to do our part.
Unfortunately, many cities throughout this country are seeing crime rates at unprecedented levels. In 2021, Mississippi was in the top half of states that exceed the national average for property crime with its rate only rising over the last three years. Specifically, the chances of becoming a victim of property crime in our state is 1 in every 47 residents.
Continuing to create awareness of what's happening in our communities is the first element in creating safer environments to raise our families and grow our businesses. The next ingredients are deterrence and prevention. Security technology increasingly plays a very important role in the prevention of crime, but also how it aids in the apprehension of the bad guys. Rarely does a day pass where we don't see video footage from cameras on local or national news being the key to solving a property or violent crime. Security systems have been around for over 150 years and although much more sophisticated today, a monitored security system is still one of the staples in life safety and property crime prevention.
Many, if not most of the security systems All Safe Technologies designs and installs today have some element of video. The video designed into these systems can be as simple as a video doorbell, to a fully integrated system utilized to reduce overall business costs. Either way, it provides another layer of security that can be managed anytime and from anywhere on your mobile device.
If you haven't already done so, please consider allowing us to come visit and discuss camera options as an added layer of protection. It's very likely we can use your existing system to integrate video and remote services that will fit within your budget. While at it, we can update/verify your monitoring contact information and provide a refreshed yard sign and window/door decals.
As with all businesses, referrals are very important to us. We'd love to hear from your friends, neighbors, relatives, co-workers, or anyone else you know that doesn't have a monitored system. You get a referral fee, and they too will enjoy the peace of mind and security deserved.
Thank you for allowing All Safe Technologies to be your security provider... we appreciate your business and look forward to serving you as a customer for many years to come.
Be Safe With All Safe.
Sincerely,
Alain Jamet, Vice-President
